While I sympathize with the mother for her loss, it is not the chatbot that caused her son's suicide anymore than it was D&D that caused Patricia Pulling's son Irving to commit suicide in 1982.
There's plenty of actual reasons to hate the modern rendition of AI. Making shit up isn't the way.
