I cannot relate, I'm so utterly unaffected by caffeine. Though odd from what I know, does it really help with getting down to writing (in reasonable amounts)?
8 0 ReplyYeah, I'm the same. I've been doing ice coffees, but I think it's just the sugar energizing me.
5 0 ReplyDo you have ADHD? Stimulants don't work for people with ADHD
5 0 ReplyNo. And that isn't a blanket case, it does affect some with ADHD, but does often work differently.
13 0 ReplyYeah it's of course an oversimplification, but with a sample size of approximately 5 all of the people I know with ADHD told me that coffee/energy only calms them down
6 0 ReplyHello! I have ADHD and I can confirm that it just makes my ADHD more intense.
10 0 ReplyI mean stimulants are what they give you to treat ADHD. Adderall, Vyvanse etc.
Many undiagnosed adhd people self medicate with smoking and coffee.
In my experience caffeine does help, but not as much. I find tea to be better than coffee.
Nicotine was honestly the most effective outside of controlled substances, but a nasty habit so I gave it up.

Can confirm, I sometimes chug an energy drink to quiet my brain for a nap. I also don’t recommend anyone do this
