Old Netflix when it was DVDs by mail was actually really neat and had a variety of movies. They dropped lots of movies when it went to streaming-only and further enshitified from there.

I have a browser extension for that. When I open a page and a 'subscribe' popup hides the text, I click on that button, and it shows me the URL it's going to block, and I click OK. The next time I get tricked into going to that page, it tells me it's blocked.

and everything since then have just been increasing horrific layers on the shit cake.

Our boss paid for our department's Netflix accounts (4K plans, 8 people on 2 account). I feel bad because I barely ever touched it since I have Stremio. It never has the thing I wanted to watch and all their new shows is garbage that guarantees to get cancelled after 1 or 2 seasons.

Pfsense and pfblockerng. You will need at least 16gb of ram if you want to block porn otherwise it will run on a potato. When you crank it up it honestly blocks too much in my opinion. AD's are just the beginning.
