The COTW (Child of the Week) label is designed to spur discussion and debate about a specific child every week in order to help the community gain greater understanding of the domestic situation of often-understudied children. If you've wanted to talk about the child or share your experiences, but have never found a relevant place to do so, now is your chance! He also co-hosts The Duran, which is more explicitly conservative, racist, sexist, transphobic, anti-communist, etc when guests are invited on, but is just about tolerable when it's just the two of them if you want a little more analysis.

The Vice President of the United States, and presidential candidate for the Democratic Party, Kamala Harris, responded to a letter sent by Maria Corina Machado, Venezuelan opposition leader, and Edmundo Gonzalez, former presidential candidate.
In the letter, Kamala reaffirms US support for Venezuelan self-determination and electoral transparency, asking the electoral council to be transparent and respect the will of Venezuelans.
She concluded by saying that the Venezuelan armed forces and security forces must respect human rights. “The United States will always be with the Venezuelan people in their struggle for democracy and freedom.”
So it’s exactly like I thought. Business as usual with her. This is good for Guatemala because she or Trump have no real effect on us outside of the usual giving our government money to lick their boots. It just means Arevalo will continue being a cuck without the fascism for once.
That unfortunately means Venezuela will continue to be bullied along with Nicaragua and Cuba.
I think Trump is a bit worse, because he usually gives diplomatic support to far-right weirdos. And the right-wing weirdos usually try to follow his bad ideas, like recognizing Jerusalem as the capital of Israel or becoming antivaxx. Without saying that the Democrats are better, I'm sure that the US participated in the coup in Honduras in 2009 and Obama did literally nothing to stop it. The same happened with the legislative coup in Paraguay in 2012.
That unfortunately means Venezuela will continue to be bullied along with Nicaragua and Cuba.
Yes, it's a shame that Biden and Kamala continued what Trump did, after he destroyed the progress Obama made towards better relations with Cuba and Nicaragua. Biden even sanctioned Nicaragua, which literally caused Nicaragua to expel all American military advisers there and Tawainese diplomats. Biden literally pushed Nicaragua towards China for no reason, other than Ortega refused to let the Pro-Somoza people to run in the elections.
The only real change in Latin America that I see happening is Brazil having worse relations with the US. For some reason, it seems that Biden had very good relations with Dilma Rouseff and Lula da Silva, I think Biden was the one to come to Brazil and give Dilma the CIA documents with all the information about the US support for the dictatorship in Brazil. And Biden basically cucked Bolsonaro (After Bolsonaro refused to recofnize Biden and then backpaddle and begged Biden to help him), he was one of the first heads of state to support Lula against the coup attempt in 2023.
