That's not as far fetch as most people think. Right now a lot of right wing media already pushing for punishing the liberal left with polluting acts. They mostly are still concentrating on the internal politics level. However, when AES countries start adapting and alternative energy sources to save the planet, it's gonna be super easy to see those same taking points being used elsewhere
