Dragon Age: The Veilguard launches October 31

That's way sooner than I expected. We've barely seen this game and it's already releasing in 2 months.

I’ve never been the biggest Dragon Age fan, but this is a post BG3 world now.
I wonder if we will actually get some information about the next Mass Effect on N7 day this year.

I have 0 expectations or hopes for it. Hope some people find it fun, I personally have such a backlog of good games from trustworthy and beloved developers that the only way I'm going to get this is on a 80% discount in a few years, if ever.
Hot take: I really enjoyed Inquisition and am hoping this isn't ass.
- I'm a fan of all the dragon age games and I'm excited as fuck. this isn't a hot take. we are allowed to be hyped! =D
- combat is changing to real time, so it's going to be more like god of war.
  
  I'm pretty okay with that, actually, as long as the writing and character interactions/development are still there. The ending of Inquisition had me hollering and instantly clamoring for a sequel so fingers crossed.
  
  As far as I remember, Dragon Age has been real time since Origins.
Trailer dropped. They won me on Morrigan.
Dark sorceress are my weakness.
That trailer looked awesome.
Dragon age as a franchise showed promise when it was an actual modern take on a CRPG.
Ever since DA2 it became worthless, casualized dreck gameplay attached to a story written by and for a very specific californian millennial crowd and, frankly, they can keep it.

  Unironically, good for you.
  Enjoy it while your taste is still where it's at, it probably won't stay there but more power to you in the meantime.
