The irony of Netflix trying to do a remake for a notoriously long running show…
Really hope they’re committed to this and don’t lose interest after two seasons.
Although I guess this might be one of those situations where it’s primarily a Japanese company that’s commissioning the show, and Netflix just chucks some money their way for the US/European rights?
My understanding is that this is going to be a complete remake starting from the beginning. I expect that the pacing should be a lot better with this remake (in addition to modern visual improvements) so that something like One Pace shouldn't be necessary with this one.
