I hate how much car interiors have moved to touchscreen everything. I don’t want to use voice control, and if there’s not a physical button or knob I can use by feel then I have to look at the screen and away from the road. That’s dangerous! I much prefer being able to reach without looking to adjust the temperature or volume or whatever. To me touchscreens are a step backwards and I don’t want to buy a car that uses too much of them.

Love it. Charging kinda sucks but I have a second car if that is going to be a problem. I have a lead foot and I love how much jam it has out of the hole. One thing that people don't seem to talk about is how awesome dual motor all wheel drive is. The Subaru gets both motors going almost all the time. I'm actually glad I didn't get a 400HP EV, as I would be roasting tires off left and right.
It doesn't really have anything weird that a gas car doesn't as far as creature comforts. The interior looks a little different, but has the normal buttons and screen integrated in the dash. It behaves by default like a normal car too. If you let off the brakes it will creep by default. Regen braking and one-pedal are off by default too.
It's not perfect but most of the issues people complain about (aside from range and charge time) are not major.

Weird take. Love my VW ID.7 - coming from a Tesla Model 3. They've copied the parts Tesla did well and kept all the traditional "car things" Tesla sucked at.
Yeah it looks like a Tesla Model S. That's how aerodynamics work.
the ID7 looks nothing at all like a Tesla, imo.
It looks like the designers of the Camry decided to make their own version of the Taurus SHO.
Yes, that's nothing like any Tesla. It's gigantic and blunt, not streamlined in any way. Mostly really looks like a Passat. Which is not bad, since at least it looks like a car unlike all the mammoths coming out these days.
