That used to be mildly infuriating for me but I've been playing with a few photo AI tools and that stuff is easy to fix
By now you can just download a one-click setup for local stable diffusion, wait for it to install, and use the inpainting feature, don't even need proper image editing software.
If you don't mind me asking, do you have a link for the one-click setup please? I don't know where to start, but it sounds interesting :)
