To be clear, itâs legal and common especially because we donât have any emissions standards enforcement. In my state, there is no test whatsoever, and even if youâre blatantly belching clouds of smoke it is 100% tolerated. Itâs a bizarre badge of honor among some hyper conservative residents to pollute as much as possible.
