For the record I also support banning X, Meta and even Reddit. Fuck all of these companies.
Firstly, TikTok in the US is administered and run by American company. It's hosted in the US. It feeds data into the NSA, not to Beijing.
Secondly, "disinformation" comes from NYT, WaPo, CNN, FOX and all the major news companies first and foremost. More disinfo comes from US politicians and US media than from the dastardly chinese. The White House press corp lie out their teeth every day. So if that's your actual concern you're barking up the wrong tree and trying to suppress speech but calling it "fighting disinformation" because it's speech you don't like - it's actually just jingoism and xenophobia used to attack freedom of speech, but frame it as you fighting Xi if it makes you feel better.
Thirdly, hostile entities to the USA are good. The USA needs to be undermined and destroyed, so that's not really a valid concern
