Is it a bad thing to industrially farm the permit crabs?
Each industrially farmed crab counts as a separate bad thing, so they only excuse the next crab.
There has to be some kind of loophole.
Farm them for love and not industry?

No, because then, using them off-label for bad things counts as the bad thing.
