Lol, and who is doing the talking? My family member is a shrink with masters degree, and tell u what - she does not care about anything its just a 9-5 in the end she just needs to get paid and get the fuck home. I'm sure most guys know how it works.
Honestly, that's probably the healthiest way for people in that profession to approach it.
Agreed, but it's unfortunate, because I feel that clinical detachment can come across as insincerity in a therapeutic context. It can promote a feeling of cynicism.
