Straight marriage is bourgois
Just marriage honesty.
I have zero idea or understanding why any queer couple wants to metaphorically cosplay as squares.
because queer romance culture is still derived from straight romance culture. Although it has evolved a lot of its own things, marraige is still a big leftover part inherited from it.
I personally don't see that as liberation. It's right up there with rainbow capitalism.
