sorry we are linux developers, we cannot just make something work without arguing about the theoretical most ideal possible implementation of it for 20 years or until its completely obsolete, without ever doing any actual coding
a lot of people are going to be upset about this but if you've actually used any 3rd party a/v in the last like 5+ years you can't help but notice ... it is all complete, total, and utter garbage
those apps all appear to me to basicallyl be in 'eternal maintenance mode' without any kind of real innovation
