Help me to not revert back to iPhone after GrapheneOS Issues
  • I use grapheneos. My yubikey 5c works fine for me. I can use it via NFC and when plugged in directly. Have you tried looking at the GOS forums for support?

With your banking apps try enabling the compatibility support mode in app settings. GOS adds additional security to apps which break some of the things bank apps use

Double tapping the bottom of the screen to shift everything down so you can reach the top of the screen with your finger when using one hand.

That's built into android including GOS but its not enabled by default. The gesture is a swipe down as opposed to a double tap.

Holding down on the space bar to move the text cursor between characters. Maybe these exist on gos though?

That's present on multiple keyboard options including heliboard, gboard and others.

  • Google Is Rolling Back Security To Pursue Their Own Interests
  • Hold your horses that hardware attestation stuff is crap. No developer is going to use it instead of the play integrity api. Both authy and relay for reddit don't work on GOS due to this. The play store even hides the existence of these when running on GOS.

I also had a temporary limitation with uber app functionality. They were doing some AB testing that would disable various features if you didn't pass integrity api. That's since gone away for me but i wouldn't be surprised if it comes back

  • FUTO Keyboard - Offline, privacy respecting, and speech to text
  • Agreed. From what I can tell the swiping is inaccurate as you have to touch each letter perfectly for it to register where as on gboard being near to or adjacent to a letter is sufficient for it to guess the correct word

  • where to start with 3D printing?
  • creality ender v3 se is a good entry level printer. I bought one earlier this year. Despite its low price, It's easy to assemble, has auto leveling and makes decent prints. You cant go wrong for the price.
