  • The original Battle of Kursk would be interesting to see their real-time dooming takes since it lasted over a month and the Germans initially broke through and appeared to win the first portion of the battle before the counter-attack. It broke the German’s back in the eastern front though.

We have historical accounts and documents of the war though and can recreate the battle pretty accurately. We don’t have fog of war in retrospect. At the time I’m sure a lot of rumors and doom was swirling around too, misinformation about the soviets routing

  • The problem though is you bring that dislike and also a moral judgment into your analysis that is spoiling it. You are letting your dislike of Russia lower your critical defenses and you accept things like panic spreading photos from Ukraine as fact, and then repeat it here. Commenting stuff like “Ukraine is deadass gonna reach Moscow” or “Ukraine is 15 km from the nuclear power plant” when they aren’t. They have barely moved a dozen kilometers into the biggest country on Earth. They have barely even scratched the surface of the first few tiny villages of the first oblast.

This is common in the western left, to insert moralist and idealist preferences into their analysis, to get the outcome they want instead of the outcome that the arrangement of forces implies.

Russia is a neoliberal state? So what? They have more industrial capacity than the west and most of their defense industry is state owned. The west has the same problems as Russia but even greater, and Russia has all it needs to win a war of attrition. You hating Putler for betraying Lenin or whatever is not relevant.

  • Ukraine has been releasing photoshopped pictures of their soldiers next to signs deeper in Kursk oblast to spread panic

  • I just find it frustrating when people who you thought would have a materialist and realist view of geopolitics and war start whipping around in the wind from western media exaggerations and narratives. Ground yourself people. Research things before posting and stop wildly speculating worst case scenarios that aren’t even likely. People have a bit of goldfishbrain and they extrapolate the last bit of news they heard into the whole outcome of the war

  • Russian sources are saying Ukrainians have been expelled from Martynovka, they are retreating from Korenevo direction as well. They are yet to take Sudzha either. Seems the tides have already reversed.

Belarus is mobilizing it’s troops on the Ukrainian border after multiple Ukrainian drones entered into Belarusian territory. This is causing a distraction to Kiev who cannot ignore these movements.

  • kursk oblast, not kursk city. they aren't even 10% of the way to kursk city. stop spreading vague dooming misinfo

  • I love this dude, just the most feral Z posting in existence

  • Some of the bourgeoise understand short term losses for long term gains. Any costs to them now will be recuperated by having Greater Israel control the entire levant and sea routes and oil fields. Israel is an investment to then that runs in the red upfront but in the long term will pay off

  • With the numbers of infantry, tanks, armored vehicles and drones sent into Kursk this appears it might be an all-in offensive from Ukraine. Everywhere in Donbas has stopped getting reinforcements and is collapsing at an increasing rate. This is Ukraine’s “2024 summer offensive” and this time they were smart enough to not brag about it loudly in the media for months.

More and more reinforcements are being sent into the Kursk breach and once it’s eventually stemmed and cleaned up Ukraine is going to be in an extremely weak position.

However this will be very damaging for Putin’s reputation and was a major intelligence failure. I even heard reports the Russians saw Ukrainian build-ups and hesitated to strike for some reason, major fuck up

  • Is Joe Rogan even a Trump guy? Didn’t he endorse Biden in 2020 or am I hallucinating

  • These gas pipelines are a) turned off right now and b) flow through Ukraine.

If Ukraine wanted to shut down the (not turned on) pipeline they could destroy it within their own borders. I don’t think this is the explanation.

I think instead the purpose is merely to cause chaos and force Russian forces to reinforce away from the Donbas fronts. They probably didn’t imagine it would be this successful either, more like their previous offensives

  • You may not like it, but 73 kg is what peak weightlifting looks like

  • If he expounds too much he risks a ban, but let’s just say the the Vietnamese were an extremely organized and disciplined group who very much relied on authority

  • They haven’t really, here’s a weeb union map

People here are just dooming. Sudzha is still contested. If you all thought Ukraine was big, wait until you find out about this country called Russia

  • She girl bossed those protesters. Hell yeah 4 more years of genocide! 4 more years! 4 more years!
