Nah bro. It sparked more women to think for themselves and vote for Kamala
Is this for real? How has this not been brought up already as a crime against humanity?
Ya but does that happen with every generation then? Having a sharp spike of first time homebuyers.
Most millennials would be buying homes already. The end of the millennial group is coming up on 30 so I wouldn’t expect them to be the driving force for first time buyers when so many are already established
I thought the Jewish heritage and population had been there just as long but were purged out from the area. And as part of the WWII agreements, land was set aside for them to reclaim what was theirs many centuries ago.
The volunteers that risk going to do stuff in either side. It’s crazy out there
Has the population jumped up for ya guys?
I just hope they don’t go overboard one way or another. All touchscreen was too much but all buttons would be excessive too
Oh I’m sure they would pull contracts. The government has contracts in probably every major cloud provider in the States and wouldn’t mind moving to any other.
Plus where do you draw the line if you’re a cloud provider? Can you support any military IT? Or just ones related to Israel? If you don’t provide cloud support to the US and to Israel, are you supporting Palestine? You basically just can’t win
I don’t really think Microsoft is at a fault though. If the US supports it, they are not taking a side as much as they are supporting the military
If it didn’t get approved, I can understand why the company would take that stance.
But I do think they should have just approved the event
Why wouldn’t it all best just considered salt water then?
I think it’s because people think giving pure cash is thoughtless and basic. If you give a gift card for that persons favorite restaurant, then it feels more personable.
Obviously having cash is better for flexibility but people don’t care sometimes
Ya I definitely don’t wanna take away from what Lemmy has accomplished
It’s definitely the best alternative to Reddit that I have seen. But the federation does add another way of complexity that I wasn’t used to coming from Reddit. Whenever I join a new community now, they may be across different federations and it seems like the popularity of these communities almost compete with each other, which detracts from having a big user-based community to ask questions to
Do you guys feel like the federation hurts Lemmy?
Like I see its benefits, but for an average user, the feel of Lemmy as an app is less intuitive than reddit
Even if it’s inner city, getting out and being around a different energy than being alone in the apartment is so helpful. It’s difficult to get moving though
Daily walks are so simple but getting out does wonders
With some chocolate
