Why are they askiing for this? Wouldn't a Ukraine with even fewer Russian speakers be even more Russophobic? I thought they wanted all of Ukraine to stay neutral, but this is just asking for problems down the line.

That's just the most efficient shape considering air resistance. Bullets, rockets, airplane fuselages etc. all look like that.

Regarding Russia, there are two groups - (1) a very small number of confused people who unconditionally suppport Russia because they confuse it with the USSR and haven't looked at the economic and political changes that have happened over the last thirty years, and (2) a broader section of the left which sees a Russian victory in Ukraine as the lesser evil compared to a never-ending war that will cause much more death and suffering.

Regarding China, they have lifted more people out of poverty in the last fifty years, and are doing more to fight climate change now, than the rest of the world combined. It is one thing to criticise specific Chinese policies or actions, but anyone who does not acknowledge the good they have done cannot be taken seriously.
