Imagine being this fragile—comparing a new restaurant lease to a 7th-century military conquest because your milkshake joint got replaced. It’s not a caliphate, it’s capitalism. If Steak ‘n Shake mattered that much, maybe you should’ve eaten there.

Seriously, the best chicken I ever had was at one of those encampments.
- The only real difference between halal chicken and non-halal chicken is that the halal chicken has to be conscious when it's killed. This does not improve the quality of the meat, it just makes the chicken suffer more than it needs to.

My man, it's a burger and wrap chain from Virginia that sells the sort of street food you get from Halal Carts in cities. Chicken sandwiches and burgers and shawarma wraps.

i am actually upset they shut down all the steak n shakes in my town though, they were good burgers, now all we have is mcdonalds and the supremely overrated Cookout
