Mmm not really so, at least in my case. The tvOS is usually only supported for a few years and once the updates stop, apps stop their support as well. We have a tv in our living room that stopped being supported after six years; it can’t download Disney+ or certain other apps natively because of it. A Fire stick is much cheaper than having to buy a new tv every so many years.
Between this and the WotC/D&D licensing scandal, companies ought to think twice about changing terms for things that rely heavily on the more mathematically/scientifically inclined portion of the population.
They tend to be a bit more vocal about this kind of bullshit.
Yes, that’s what was confusing me. I didn’t think about the wires being held into the outlet by the wood slivers.
… ooooohhhhhh.
Now I get it.
… would this even work? Does the wood draw enough electricity to power whatever it is connected to?
This is mildly off topic, but is that thumbnail an Animorphs reference?
Well if that’s the case I wish someone would tell me where the bombs will be landing so I can get it over quickly.
I’m curious how we will ever be advance to the point of being a post-scarcity space faring civilization if we don’t take these sorts of steps because we’re too busy wondering about what might go wrong
That’s not even necessarily true; it’s possible their immediate family was simply too poor to insure or tow the vehicle and so left it abandoned.
Which is silly because eradicating them in some places while leaving them elsewhere just costs more money long term.
Imagine if there was a global fund for disease cures that all the industrialized nations poured their money and resources into.
Fair, you are correct.
It was, when we had net neutrality.
E: I have been corrected. FCC net neutrality only applied to ISP’s.
So does that mean all these businesses were always doomed to fail anyways, just living on borrowed money/time, and now the bill comes due, they’re all fucked?
No, that’s relegated to Huawei.
Dear god we need some quality moderation on this site
Oh I don’t disagree with any of your points. That’s just what I expect from a Bethesda game now. It shouldn’t be full price to be honest.
Mods will likely fix that issue. Some Skyrim mod collections turn it into a Survival/action rpg that is far more fun than the base game.
I have to believe some of this functionality will be added in patches and DLC.
