Meme post on Lemmy a few weeks back basically asked "what's with men and sticks?"
Many enthusiastic comments and posts followed, showing off some actually quite impressive sticks.
Now there's a whole stick enthusiasts community @stick and I find myself keeping an eye out for good ones whenever I'm outside just in case.
This sort of thing is why the internet is actually great.
@saffron That's the spirit 😂
@Mwallerby @Wodge But is it tho? 🤔
@Gradually_Adjusting We were thinking of doing the rounds and trying to find a supermarket with better fruit than Asda. Will have to add spinach to the experiment and report back on my findings!
@Gradually_Adjusting It's already wrapped up in a bag and littered with paper towels but it's basically like that scene in X-Men where the senator guy dissolves on the table ðŸ˜
Maybe it's just a problem with Asda spinach. My frustration spilleth over this lunchtime.
@ukcasual Also if my bananas could stop getting those creepy black bits. Ta.
My kingdom for spinach that doesn't turn to watery mush after three days!
It's 2023! Get on it, science!
Gah.
@KeefChief13 Imagine basically the same thing but the three flavours are strawberry, pineapple and orange instead.
Properly mid tier lolly in my clearly expert opinion.
@KeefChief13 Seems to be a USA thing, maybe? That is a much better flavour combo than our equivalent rocket lolly though, can't argue with you there!
@Pyroglyph Excellent lolly identification skills! It was indeed.
@KeefChief13 Wtf is a bomb pop
@vext01 Those were my favourite when I was a kid, except I'd always forget that only the outside bit is nice and then you get to that tedious solid choc in the middle 💤
@LunarLoony Ehhh, they're ok I guess but the pineapple part stings my tongue, gotta dock points for that.
@Duchess Does that thing people do when they send *internet hugs* also work with lollies? Let's see.
*internet lemonade lolly*
@leraje Well that puts the cat among the pigeons, introducing *homemade* lollies into the mix. I guess we would need to test homemade lemonade ones too to be sure.
...brb ordering a lolly mould.
@leraje Hmm, personally I find the orange ones tend to wear out their welcome by the end.
But I respect your take on this important matter.
In the ever-growing pantheon of fancy iced treats, I believe the humble lemonade lolly is still the superior choice.
And if you're turning your nose up at this right now, I encourage you to give it a go. Most refreshing, tastes like childhood.
Hoping for some advice on AI pathfinding terminology
Basically I have a town made of individual hex shaped tiles with buildings on them. Each tile will have footpaths too, and my little people will hopefully wander around the paths, travelling to other tiles via their path connections.
I'm fine with learning this stuff but just not sure exactly what terms to search for to get started!
Should I be looking up specific #Godot features for finding routes? Algorithms? Help!
