  • Jealous of the amount of free time you have available ;-) good luck!

  • LEGO Horizon Adventures launches Holiday 2024 – PlayStation.Blog
  • Two of my favourite things combined, hyped! Too bad LEGO games usually don't do it for me, but given that Guerilla themselves are involved it might be different this time. I'll have to get it either way, it looks great.

  • Europe’s rapidly rising right: Hard-right forces are gaining ground ahead of next month’s European Parliament election
  • In my opinion these parties are often mentioning valid issues or things that could be improved in society, and people vote for that. The problem is these parties don't really have solutions either, but that's something that doesn't show up until after the elections...

  • The most perfect toadstool we found in Jämtland [OC]
  • Ha, I did not! Been a long time since I saw that image lol, thanks.

  • That time when Microsoft bought and killed Nokia phone unit
  • Maemo and later Meego yes... I had a Nokia N900 and it was an awesome phone. Basically Debian in your pocket, easily accessible terminal with root etc.

  • Þrídrangaviti Lighthouse, Iceland
  • Have you heard about helicopters?

  • Microsoft Just Released MS-DOS Source Code!
  • I'd recommend scheduled tasks instead. Why be involved at all? :-)

  • Kobo's new color E Ink eReaders start at only $150
  • I never said anything about Onyx, I don't own one but have considered them. They look nice and open.

I do own a couple of Kobo devices though and just wanted to say it's not running Android of any kind but it's still relatively open. Especially compared to phones, tablets and Kindle. The firmware/OS point you're trying to make is irrelevant there and I think you know it :)

  • Kobo's new color E Ink eReaders start at only $150
  • There is NickelMenu and you can telnet into it. You can also install other OS like KOReader easily, it doesn't have a locked bootloader or anything like that. So imho that's pretty accessible and open.

  • Kobo's new color E Ink eReaders start at only $150
  • We are talking about the Kobo right? It's not running any kind of Android or AOSP fork.

  • Kobo's new color E Ink eReaders start at only $150
  • No it's not running Android.

  • Kobo's new color E Ink eReaders start at only $150
  • Using Calibre you could probably glue that together. I wouldn't want Android on an ereader personally.

  • Kobo's new color E Ink eReaders start at only $150
  • It's not open source but it is easily rooted and you can install custom add-ons or even replace the os.

  • I find this to be most accurate with Debian
  • If it's important that it keeps running then it should just be redundant and taking one node down for an update shouldn't be an issue. I know this is wishful thinking for a lot of services but I refuse to be on call for something if the client can't be bothered to make it redundant.

  • Synth Riders - missing overview feature of tracks played at X difficulty?

Am I missing something or is it not possible to view all tracks you completed at a certain difficulty level? I would like to complete all songs on expert but it's pretty difficult to get that information. The highest score shown when you select a track is sometimes from a lower difficulty than the highest difficulty I completed the track in. The only way to be certain (as far as I know) is by checking the leaderboards panel next to the song info, which wouldn't be so annoying if it would default to the second tab (self instead of global).

Am I missing something or is it just really annoying to get info like this?

I also think the playlist feature is extremely unintuitieve to use. Why isn't there an 'add to playlist' button when you complete the song for example. I love the game but feel like the UI could be polished a bit more.

[Feature Request] Option to "Mark as read when image viewed" instead of comments viewed would be useful

Hello! Really like the Connect app and the development speed is very impressive. A minor thing I'm missing is related to marking posts as read. When you just click the thumbnail image and view the image, I would like if the post is marked as read. For examples with memes and such it's usually not neccesary to read the comments but the list view keeps showing it as an unread post, making it harder to keep track. Perhaps this could be added some time in a future update?

Either way great work on the app. Thanks!

EDIT: seems this was added in the current beta version, awesome!
