If you don't work IT, retail, or food service what do you do for work?
  • Depends what's going on. Its very different if I'm in the design phase of a project or assembly and testing.

I really enjoy CADing and designing in general. And I'm fine writing documentation, procedures, assembly instructions. Pretty smooth for me.

Once production starts and things go wrong, we need to investigate, fix the issues, and sometimes we're chasings ghotsts. This is the stressful part. I'm currently in it, and I'm pretty stressed these days.

  • Google disrupted YouTube video playback on Firefox, again - gHacks Tech News
  • You browse YouTube in the browser then use a handler to send it to MPV?

  • If you don't work IT, retail, or food service what do you do for work?
  • Mechanical engineer in the space industry

  • Nextcloud or Syncthing - which one do you suggest?
  • I use SyncThing on all my computers with my phone. I've setup my phone to just not sync certain folders with Ignore Patterns

  • What do you use the back buttons for?
  • In games where I've have to hold a face button, yet use another I'll use the back buttons.

So I mirror ABXY in Hades II for example, and charge up my B spell while I dash away with A. Much more comfortable to charge with the back B and dash with the face A button.

  • Why isn't jerking off more valorized as an easy dopamine hit that's also literally good for you?
  • I believe feminism has an issue with how women are portrayed in pornography and how that can influence men's views and expectations of women.

  • Have you got any weird questions for the opposite gender?
  • Even if I can take care of myself, there is something quite comforting in that role reversal.

  • Is there any closed source android app that you wish had a good open source alternative?
  • Doesn't have exactly the same features but I've simply been using Logseq syncing my notes with Syncthing

  • What are some good Overleaf (Latex) alternatives?
  • No problem. Figured you might appreciate something that's exactly the same

  • What are some good Overleaf (Latex) alternatives?
  • You can always self host overleaf yourself

  • REM expansion into Deux-Montagnes and Anse-ร -l'Orme delayed
  • I totally understand. The bigger issue is the two trains no longer serving you.
