  • I'm not American, so our perspectives will always be different. From where the rest of the world is sitting, Americans have never given a tin shit about natural justice or respect for another country's autonomy. You guys have been in the coup business for over a hundred years. How many governments have been overthrown because they weren't compliant enough, not friendly enough to your corporate interests or simply standing in the way of your geopolitical ambitions? Pacific islands blown apart or outright stolen, dark money handed to murderous dictators, killer regimes installed and resources sucked away. Spare me the rationalism about one particular brand of domestic American politics being slightly less worse than the other. If your country is balls deep in the misery of what's going on in Palestine already, there won't be too many left to murder when Trump takes office in January.

    Coke or Pepsi, feller.

  • I guess the rest of the world better come up with a plan to deal with a Trump dominated US. Every single day it seems to be getting worse and he's not even in charge as yet.

America can lecture us on how we respond to a dangerous hegemony, but first it better put a few safety pins back into its own machinery. Europe has first hand experience with strong men with a mission. Just building a passive Maginot Line didn't seem to work last time.

  • The trouble with this graphic is that millennials are part of the problem now. The oldest are over forty. We've all seen the footage of Jan 6th. There were very few boomers in their 60 and 70s.

  • According to everything I've read, Trump was voted in by every demographic in swing states and even non-swing states.

I know that it's a instinctive flex to dump on boomers (with good reason) but this calls for a bit more of a deeper analysis.

  • The thing is most of them won't know or care as the house falls about their ears.

We care just because it's as plain as day. The bewildered look when confronted with their created healthcare crisis will be entertaining as hell. The Dems will get the blame for that too.

  • I can't see the US invading Germany or the UK if there was a shift to the Euro. Let's face it, Trump's hostile takeover of democracy isn't actually reassuring to the rest of the world. The globe isn't necessarily going to willingly be held hostage to seven US swing states every four years.

  • A lot of things have changed since 08, or haven't you been paying attention?

Am i giving up? This war between the states has been going since 1861. With the exception of brief periods of lucidity, now and again, what has fundamentally changed?

Anyway, I'm not trying to talk anybody out of anything. Go at it. Make it work if you have the secret. Meet me back here in 2028 for a chat, if we both survive.
