Interesting discussion about the state of the game and tidbits with the developers. I like how the director basically tells people to play the game and form your own opinion and stop parroting stuff you hear online lol (@ around 4:20) They also briefly talk about the 3v3 mode at around 9:10

A.B.A coming March 26, along with Millia's new move.
From the stream, it sounds like there won't be a balance patch with the update, just the character and new move.
Anyways ABA looking kinda sick
Yeah especially after trying SF6 and Granblue, the lack of frame data is noticeable. Maybe that's what they're going to add to make the game feel less complex lol.
The post makes it sound like the new mechanics & new moves are what's making the game more complex, since it's adding more options. No idea what they plan to do to though.

Figured I'd share this here, if you're having trouble trying to 6P it. TL;DW: Air grab
I mean, they're still around. The reduced burst gain for positive bonus seems good, though I'm not good enough to notice and I've just been playing against Elphelts spamming the rekka mixup anyways lol

Elphelt is out. Axl and Pot got new moves. Wild Assault Changes. Minor nerfs and buffs.
Are you using wayland? As far as I'm aware X11 can't handle different refresh rates for different monitors so it defaults to the lower one.
It looks like 1/4 of the games were released in the last 2 months(ish) lol:
-Baldur's Gate 3
-Dave the Diver
-Armored Core 6
-Holocure
-Remnant 2
If I'm counting it right, half of the games were released in the last 2 years

quick wall to wall from cgm
this is now a testament discussion forum
I tried to do the new mid-air teleport mixup and still got read like a book so never again.
It's actually pretty fun so far; I haven't played much yet and I'm not the type to lab new combos but the most notable change for me was wild assault. It's been fun to use and I feel like everyone has a wall-to-wall combo now lol.
The arbiter changes felt a little underwhelming, is it mainly used with RC and wild assault for combos? It felt to me like it mainly gives a little better corner pressure. I'm not complaining though, and again I haven't really spent much time on it.
I'm looking forward to seeing all the nasty stuff people come up with.
Yeah I'm especially curious about the different types of Wild Assault; gotta see it in action. Testament also got some interesting changes so I'm interested in how this patch affects their game plan overall.

Yeah I more or less figured out the changes to delineate the 50% line, but I wasn't sure about the blue fire on top. If you look at the intensity of the flame at 2:25 vs. 2:30, you can see a difference even though they both look like full burst bars.
I know they made comments about changing/enhancing regular bursts so I was wondering if it had to do with that but I'm not sure.

Mist Finer + the card seems to work basically how people thought it would. There seems to be something interesting going on with the burst meter as well.

There's not much new info but there are a couple of interesting tidbits.
Johnny uses cards, and if you hit the cards with mist finer you get an additional hit (you can see this in the announcement trailer).
Apparently they changed how you will gain burst meter? And the regular burst will also be enhanced.
The other characters will get new moves "throughout the season 3 updates"
Faust is storing an item with his new move.

Johnny Announced! 08/24
Pop just recently updated too, to Linux 6.4.6 and Mesa 23.1.3
Over the years I have done a fair few interviews with the very nice people at Arc System Works and it seemed only fitting to catch up with CEO Minoru Kidooka and CCO Daisuke Ishiwatari about the company’s 35th anniversary.
No breaking news or anything but it's a fun interview where they look back on the Guilty Gear franchise.
