Germany’s temporary border controls feel like a weak Band-Aid on a bleeding wound. With illegal immigration and human trafficking surging, tightening up the borders for a bit won’t cut it. This half-hearted move screams, "We need to do something," but barely scratches the surface of the real issues. It’s a short-term fix for a long-term mess, and unless the EU steps up with a serious game plan, this won’t change much. Germany might slow the flow, but it’s nowhere near enough.
