  • I don't think it's too much. I don't really consider deadlifts that much of a leg and instead a back exercise. I also go 1 rep max on deadlifts, where my 2nd to last set is nearly max and last rep is max.

I'd recommend doing romanian deadlifts instead of leg curls or leg press. I added them in the past year and really feel them. I do them elevated so i can really get low with barbell.

  • Don't browsers allow you to do form fillable these days? I swear i just filled one with firefox the other day. Maybe that's too limited?

For combining pdfs, pdftk from the command line is my goto. The command line interface for it isn't too complicated.

  • Linux mint or fedora are great options. I'd probably recommend mint as usually geared more to those switching from windows and the forums and communities might be more helpful for beginners.

I'd avoid ubuntu these days. While not horrendous, i've run into enough annoyances with their snap package manager that there's just no reason to learn this additional thing for a beginner.

  • I remember reading an interview with mikael and how he loved Camel. So i went and listened to some Camel. He did a very good job making Opeth sound like Camel. Its not my thing and thus i haven't really been into Opeth for a while.

New album is okay in my opinion.

  • My opinion here, so obvious caveat.

Burning Wheel has one good system in it: the beliefs, instincts, and traits are awesome. This could compliment or replace bonds. Otherwise though Burning Wheel is a giant complicated mess of rules that are completely opposite of the rules-light point of dungeon world.

  • No. You don't manually place apps on homescreen. I have it configured to only show one row of favorites, which are categorized as "pinned - manually sorted". Than the rest of my favorites are seen when i swipe to app drawer.

  • Can do homescreen icons. It has a widgets "pane". You don't place them on the home screen but put all widgets together than swipe to widgets. You can configure kvaesitso so it's not too different from stock android experience.

I have 5 "favorite" apps at bottom of screen, above the search bar, similar to stock android.

I swipe left for my app drawer, which allows for more pinned favorites above full list.

I swipe up for all my widgets.

Swipe down for notifications, like stock.

Swipe right for my camera app.

  • I too would be put off if it had to be used that way. But it can be used as a regular icon tapping launcher - it has a regular app drawer - which is how i use it. I don't think it should market itself as a "search-focused" launcher.
