Kevin Costner puts his cards on the table to get his passion project Horizon: An American Saga, made while a range war roils the Yellowstone ranch.

As bad as The Hobbit is as a trilogy, there was some good stuff there and I'm glad we got those movies.
Same! I have a physical media collection as well as a digital media collection.
Subtitles for most movies are really easy to find online. I use subtitlist.net for this, and Subtitle Edit for obscure items in my collection that don't have publicly available subtitles online.
If you put the SRT files in the same directory as your items, with the same name, PLEX should pull it and use it as the subtitle for the movie or episode it belongs to.
Yeah I was also surprised at how entertaining it was (although I'm beginning to think that the pod race sequence was basically ripped from the 1959 Ben-Hur chariot race sequence lol). People complain about the politics, and I enjoyed how they were being used in the movie (although I kinda wished they showed exactly how the people of Nabboo were being oppressed exactly).
That clip of The Acolyte made me excited too, although a bit wistful since we won't be able to see the series in theaters at all. That would be so much fun. I have a fair bit of faith in it despite all the noise because some of the writers have written House Of The Dragon and Mr. Robot episodes, I think if the show ends up being bad they'd have to have done that on purpose lol. Review bombing the trailers is completely ridiculous.
Don't count on streaming.

Autopilot and Full Self-Driving, do not make the vehicles autonomous and require drivers to keep their hands on the steering wheel and eyes on the road.
That's completely false lol
It's probably widespread, it's not that different than how it looks on my 2019 4K copy of the movie. It's just more noticeable because it's on a huge projector.
I do hope that the splotchy pixels issue was isolated to the theater I went to though. I found it bizarre and have never seen anything like it at a theater before.
I saw this at an AMC BTW
Honestly, I was slightly let down by the experience fidelity-wise. Because of the CGI used, many elements were blurry here and there and because of the composite shots combining real elements with CGI, there were some moments where for example Jar Jar Binks would be blurry but the background would look normal. Also there were these weird pixelated colored dots that'd appear onscreen every five minutes or so.
But hey the audio was fine and the movie is WAY better than I remember.
Too bad!
The only reason I'm not surprised is because this was basically going to kill the game. Nobody was going to play it after this change, and I don't think that's something Sony wanted to risk.
I'm not entirely shocked by this
From what I'm hearing, it's very likely that SCOTUS will uphold that actions that are part of official duties will have presidential immunity, but other activities will not.
For example, let's say that terrorists were in a building in America, and Trump authorized a strike on that building, killing many civilians (just as an example). That would be an official action, qualifying him from immunity. But, if he does something like bash his wife's head in, even as president, he does not have immunity from that.
It's my understanding that this is the traditional view of the laws in question, I am not sure that Trump will be able to get that immunity expanded like he wants.
The Supreme Court on Thursday appeared skeptical of a ruling by a federal appeals court that rejected former President Donald Trump’s claim that he has absolute immunity from criminal charges based on his official acts as president. During more than two-and-a-half hours of oral argument, some of the

Well, I don't know. Democrats are more vocal about it for sure, but that's just because many of them hate either Jews or Israel. Democrats seem to love Ukraine, and would like to keep funding them, while Republicans seem to not care about them at all.
As a conservative myself, NYP and Fox News messaging doesn't represent the true values or positions of the GOP base.
While most Republican politicians support continuing to fund Ukraine with no end, most Republicans are at most cautious of that idea, if not opposed to it altogether. There's a big reason why the GOP presidential candidates were trying so hard to convince the audience that funding the war is a good idea.

We will only get it if enough people bother Denis Villeneuve about it. He wanted the physical media releases to have the IMAX shots and was surprised when he was told recently that they don't.
Yep, confirmed by Warner Home Video: https://www.reddit.com/r/4kbluray/comments/1bjhmy8/confirmed_dune_2_4k_blu_ray_will_not_include_imax/
Some are theorizing that the Part One + Part Two release or eventual trilogy release might have an IMAX release.
I pre-ordered the 4K steelbook as soon as it was available.
It's a shame that the IMAX shots won't be in it though.
If Trump took nude showers with Ivanka, nobody would be saying that he's just a "weird nudist", he would be accused of incest and pedophilia. The insinuation is legitimate.
I don't know that Biden has actually slept with kids before, but he clearly has an attraction to them.
