I'd say that's arguable but even so, your statement wasn't geared that way. You said "users" without qualification, not "problematic users". I'm simply pointing out that there's a distinction between the two and one should not throw the baby out with the bathwater by assuming that all drug users are problematic drug users and then creating laws based on that very flawed assumption.

Some are. Some are decent and are helping people out because the government has chosen to put the multi-billion dollar industry into the hands of criminal gangs (the parasitical entities). Again, don't throw the baby out with the bathwater. When society eventually pulls its head out of its ass and legalises and regulates drugs, I'll bet a large proportion of the people staffing the specialist pharmacies will be those same drug dealers doing what they always did, just in a legalised context: not only supplying but offering advice and guidance to keep people safe.

I would argue that this is very much in line with the punitive approach of criminalisation, it comes from the same feelings of revulsion and delusions of moral superiority as criminalisation. It's simply another form of punishment: unnecessary, forced suffering.

Indeed, alcohol can be a problematic drug and is much more dangerous than most illicit drugs but do you assume that everyone who has a drink is doing so because they have a drinking problem?

Doing drugs doesn't imply a problem. UNODC estimates that only 10-15% of drug use is problematic. It's not reasonable to assume that drug use is an escape from problems, any more than drinking alcohol.

A punitive approach to drugs only seems right to the wilfully ignorant. Religion seems to overwhelmingly be the source of that will.

The government doesn't promote smoking by creating rules to mitigate the dangers and provide a safer experience for those who choose to take the risk. Same with riding motorcycles. Or gambling. Or pretty much everything which responsible adults want to do that carries risk except, for some reason, drug use. Instead of being rational and mitigating the risks of drug use, the government chooses to put the drug market into the hands of criminals making the whole situation much more dangerous than it needs to be and also gifting a multi-billion dollar industry to criminal gangs.

Yes but given the chance, the people won't form an anarcho-syndicalist commune. We know this because they have the chance to form an anarcho-syndicalist commune right now and they haven't.

• If you're unsure about your "gender identity" you should try transition anyway so you can be sure. Try out names, pronouns and outfits. Try HRT.
• If you are dysphoric and HRT lessens it, transition was the right choice. If HRT makes your dysphoria worse, or you start experiencing dysphoria on HRT when you didn't before, this also means that transition was the right choice, because HRT helped you to stop repressing your feelings.
• If you are questioning your gender but have neutral/positive feelings about some sexed part of your body, you are in denial. Once you fully accept your identity you'll realise that you hate that body part too and were repressing your true feelings.
• If you want to transition, you should. If you don't want to transition or are worried/scared that you'll have to transition, this also means that you should, because you're repressing/in denial.
• Any doubts you have about transition are denial and internalised transphobia.

These people are straight up encouraging obsession and paranoia. Once you're introduced to the culture and start "questioning" (and all kinds of things count as "questioning"), every path you're presented with ends with "you need to transition ASAP otherwise things will get massively worse and it might kill you". The brainrot is difficult to eradicate, and potentially life-ruining for anyone with OCD, intrusive thoughts, hyperfixations, or similar issues.

Anyone who expresses dissatisfaction with the state of the community gets chastised and/or kicked out. This happened to me once. A few years ago I was in a Discord with some friends, many of whom started identifying as trans/non-binary. One day I said something they interpreted as "transphobic" and was promptly dogpiled and banned from the server (one person sent me a high and mighty message about how I should "rescind my statement" if I wanted to be unbanned). People from the server contacted my best friend and urged him to stop associating with me (he was a reasonable guy so he didn't).

I mean discussions similar to those in Reddit's /r/detrans, /r/actual_detrans, /r/ask_detransition, etc. or in fact any discussions around detransitioning. In my experience, such communities and discussions very much do not toe the trans party line.
