WAIT, there's a new one??? I didn't even know about this.

There's a lesser known 90's show called The Adventures of Brisco County Jr. that I remember being pretty weird but good. It's been awhile since I've seen it, so not sure how well it has aged, but I was thinking of checking it out again. Some other 90s shows to check out:

• Tribeca (this won awards but for some reason has been totally forgotten and is difficult to find)

• Freaks and Geeks
• Eerie, Indiana
• Quantum Leap
• Daria (I still really love this one)
• The Maxx (dark, but good imo)

• Sliders (this one is kinda garbage but still hilarious)

• VIP (ok this is trash but I liked it for some reason)

• Todd McFarlane's Spawn (the series, not the movie)

Just wanted to say thanks for being considerate, and again, there's absolutely no shame in doing so.

Yeah I agree with this and I see it as punching up vs punching down. Even though Trump supporters are genuinely terrible, the appearance of punching down by Hilldog just makes them feel picked on. Calling their leaders weird on the other hand is more effective at peeling off support.

A couple of things:

1. Using “transgenders” as a noun like that comes off as dehumanizing and is more often than not derogatory. I know this wasn’t your intent there, but it clearly bothers people and so is something important to be aware of.
2. I know how easy it is to feel defensive, but just getting angry at people for calling it out isn’t very helpful. There’s no shame in doing self-crit and admitting you weren’t aware, and I think most people would appreciate a willingness to understand and learn.

EDIT: I should mention that I once posted an article that had a full-blown transphobic rant because I was half-awake and didn’t read it all the way to the end. I deleted it and apologized as soon as someone pointed it out, but I still feel kinda embarrassed. So what I did was way worse than the above post, but I suppose important thing was learning from the mistake.

I like them both, and I actually feel like the chemistry between the two is perfect. Brace is funny and irreverent, but could go on for hours rambling if not reigned in. Liz is more serious and focused, and helps keep the discussion on track. I feel like one without the other just wouldn't have the same appeal.

This was actually Marilyn Manson, who was also Paul from The Wonder Years.

While it was never officially released in the US, Sweet Home is another Capcom RPG that deserves more love.

I missed the earlier struggle session, but I had a big rant I was gonna post about cishet gender norms being responsible for bad communication and bad feelings in cishet relationships, so men defying those norms by embracing comradely affection with other men is unironically cool and good imo.

Anyone else notice a lot of odd noise on social media over this? And I mean lots of denials that the US had anything to do with it. Maybe I’m paranoid, but I also notice this sort of thing when coups in Latin America happen, so makes sense that there would also be astroturfing regarding this event.

It’s because military members are only useful as political props and no one who preaches “support the troops” really cares about them as people. This is especially true when they actually reject their assigned role and attempt to do something positive.

Belleville makes very good quality boots imo, and they are quite durable. If they are in decent condition I would absolutely get them. They should be reasonably comfortable, but you can also buy padded insoles if you need more cushion.
