There is no such thing as a "successful socialist country" and there never can be since Karl Marx didn't design one. What he did was to write a manifesto that some very stupid but extremely crafty and greedy people picked up and ran with in order to create a "new" kind of government which is really nothing more than a revamping and modernization of the old 18th century European monarchies. These old Monarchies were, of course, completely untouchable by the people, totally controlled the people, used (often extreme) force when they felt threatened by the people and really didn't care about the general populations at all. Really, who wants to go back to that?

Can you live anywhere you want? Can you ALREADY love whoever you like? Work any job you want? Aren't you already free to express yourself? Yes, you do! There's nothing stopping you from doing ANY of those things but those who object to how you live or what you do ALSO have the right to express themselves, live where they want, work where they want be WHO they want! That's THEIR rights, too, and no one has any right to oppress them in any way.

Look up the case where the ACLU actually defended the KKKs right to free speech and they also defended other radical and reactionary groups back when the Constitution was still respected and adhered to. Then you'll know what free speech really is. Dictatorships can't exist without censorship.
