I judge it off of how my 7 year old reacted.

The only thing that bother him until he played Minecraft Legends was the nether mobs invading, and how oddly realistic looking the blocks were. Otherwise he thought it was amazing when "the big dude in the pink jacket I want" threw the only ender pearl Steve had and screamed after throwing it.

I think, for the intended audience, it will do great.

I get that they are using the dirt as leverage against eachother, but if they really wanted to conspire they could just remove protections for minors.

Child labor laws, consent, sentencing, etc. it kind of highlights how stupid the party is.

I have noticed muscle building helps a little.

If you step out of line, well, there is a camp for that.

I don't think this will work the way he expects. While he has the 'legal' authority to take command of a State's National Guard, there is absolutely no way a single one of the governors would allow this. The red states may allow the military into their bluer cities, but the Democrat governors have largely already said they'll refuse it.

The largest issue is that the "Mass Deportations" don't forcibly remove people from the country. They have to process where they all get sent. Guess where they concentrate the immigrants? Guess what happens when those facilities get too full to use them as a cheap source of labor or keep them fed?

While they won't be able to reach Moscow with these, even from within Kursk, I am willing to bet the authorization was withheld on intelligence grounds. A lot of things in the war make sense if you look at it from the perspective that arms support can't be guaranteed.

I'm turn between laughing and crying that I had to sit here a moment and decide if I was surprised or make sure it's satire. I'm not exactly convinced it's satire.

Ok, story time.

I'm a Sr swe, and because of some strange decisions by management, half my time or more is meetings where I've providing status updates on the project, or getting status updates on the project. I'm obviously expected to contribute to the project, but the only thing I get time to do is review code, test, and occasionally step in to help lesser experienced team members solve problems.

But the real problem? The project involves one of my key areas of interest in computer science, and I didn't have any involvement in designing the system. So I'm doing all of this work for a poorly designed system that I can point out all the limitations of it, can guide a work around, but because of the tech stack it literally will not be as effective as the customers dream of.

My lunch breaks and after work involve Factorio or Satisfactory where I have the power to do things right and fix when I need to. Without these games I probably would have lost my mind ages ago.

The reason I can't forget that is because there were three reasons he didn't get in the car.

1. He took his position seriously and would certify the vote.
2. One of his secret service personnel told him directly "Do not get in that car, Mr. Vice President."
3. The secret service that showed up with the car wasn't Pence's detail, it was Trump's.

You know how there is that meme of "Epstein didn't kill himself?"

I'm 99% sure Trump had a hand in it due to him being held in a federal prison and having plenty of dirt on him.

And the other was Pence on Jan. 6th when refusing to get into the secret service car until the results were certified.

Man I'm just glad I'm not the only one seeing it.
