  • Laws aren't enough for something of this magnitude. The general population needs to grow to match the much greater challenges presented by modern technology, or we're going to descend into another dark age until we do learn how to behave.

  • You certainly won't be making anything.

  • This problem is vastly greater than anything a school board could meaningfully impact alone.

  • How about instead of ragging on kids these days we see that there is a very serious problem brewing, regarding how we're expecting to maintain this high tech society we've built going forwards. I would posit that it was the planning done by generations prior that has left society in a state where youth are not gaining skills that will be needed simply to maintain the status quo, let alone improve anything.

  • Did you link to a brand new reddit post that didn't even have replies yet?

  • Yes. We definitely do not want people like Joe mixing with polite society.

  • If those guys had hobbies, China would be an unstoppable juggernaut.

  • I've had arguments with people in simple little games, where the points barely matter at all, because some people get upset if others don't play for pure efficiency.

  • So who is it, do you estimate, that is campaigning so hard against a women's rights organization?

Think about who's interests these sorts of campaigns serve.

  • Think long and hard about what you actually believe, and who you actually trust, before jumping in on this one.

  • Perhaps all the above could be summed up by “Capitalist Greed”…??? 🤡 🖕

No. It can't. And you're actively hurting your efforts by attaching high school edgelord bullshit to it.

Corruption has been a serious problem everywhere, forever, and does not care one bit what words the ruling party uses to express themselves. None of what is happening right now is restricted to nations which call themselves capitalist.

  • unless it’s unnaturally smooth

Well, this particular patch does seem to fit the bill.

  • I mean, it's nicer to walk on grass than pavement anyways.

  • I wish

MSM are actually the only people I've seen do that.

  • It's shocking how many articles I've seen in recent years with only one or two sentences.

  • hmmm

  • Yea, but anyone who isn't a dumbass should be capable of recognizing that nuance without it being stated explicitly.

  • hire

They've been known to literally lock people in their factories, and even put up suicide nets to prevent slaves from killing themselves.

  • I, for one, am incredibly amused to see pirates complaining about piracy.
