Cool idea to revive failed live services as non-bullshit single-pay games. So much work wasted otherwise. Could lead to some fine games :)
I never put protection on my screen devices. One of those guys that never damaged a phone in my life. Had no problems with deck.
By that I mean, that depends on you and your track record. My wife would kill any mobile without a protective case in a month :p
This might be related to amount of money given. People usually give something like 5 dollars and are surprised that a person doesn't save, just spends on temporary pleasure.
We'll need to wait for the release. Before launch cyberpunk was also getting good reviews ;)
I've been using ear plugs for live music both as listener and performer for ages. I consider them essential.
They can even improve listening quality. For years while going to concerts I thought that speakers have problems at venues due to always hearing high pitched noise, usually on guitars. It turns out it was basically sound of my ears screaming that it's to loud. Problem disapeares with ear plugs.
I sometimes take them off during the concert wanting to hear things louder and regret it in an instance :)
Didn't think of it this way. It would be cool if we weren't stuck with microsoft github for coding social network.
Most people don't know how to install operating system, even if it's just pressing next in the installer mostly. The reason Linux is not primary system is that it's not preinstalled. It has a bit of chicken and egg problem with some support missing due to low user base, and base lowered by that soft missing but that would change in the instant if everybody suddenly bought PC with linux preinstalled.
Even the win mentioned with linux in gaming is basically just that. Linux preinstalled on steam deck.
I'll note that not everyone has hundreds of tabs open ;) I prefer my tabs on the top as I never have more then 4 and even then I feel it's too many.
Try disabling all add ons. I'm using firefox on all my devices, some of them pretty old mobiles and all work good. Some extensions like already mentioned dark reader are absolute perf killers.
UK should be allowed to come back, even by getting most of the deal they had. I know schadenfreude of them leaving feels good but it's better for europe to stay united. Having UK in EU makes both stronger.
As a gamedev there are some projects that sound for me more fun to develop then to play. This is one of them :p
For me it's trying to get to the bottom of the reason why I feel a certain way. If I manage to logic myself out of the initial heavy torrent of emotions I can usually talk myself down if I feel it's destructive.
So just thinking about those emotions but not in a way that amplifies them. If I'm angry at someone I would try not to think more reasons why what that person did is wrong but more in the direction of why do I feel angry for them doing that.
If I manage to see my state in such a objective manner I'm able to just decide to stop feeling this way. Often I realise that feeling those emotions, even the negative ones, just feels good and even though I can stop I prefer not too. But at least it's a choice.
Yeah, I tried Ardour multiple times but always endup back at REAPER. It's solid. Ardour isn't bad, it has potential, it just needs more support.
I agree fully. People should move out of youtube. Situation really isn't outrageous. Just a private company doing private company things. I hope this pushes more people to use/create alternatives.
Cool! I've been using Firefox Nightly to workaround extension limitations. I'll be able to switch back to having nicer icon colors xD
I hope that with this being official support some extensions regain full features on mobile. For example, vimperator cannot open tabs on mobile currently(using it with samsung dex)
Never thought about it, but I didn't expect they have to pay for calls. Would think that they just have limited time for them.
I've switched to watching youtube from my rss feader anyway
Too bad they don't mention europe average. Four close friends sounds fine, depending on what is meant by close.
