  • I specifically look for negative reviews before buying something. I haven't really put numbers to a ratio of good to bad where I feel reassured about buying something but I'm sure it's there. If your product has 5000 reviews with no bad ones, something is fucked up. If the majority of the reviews are "the delivery guy spiked the package on my porch and it was broke I'D GIVE ZERO STARS IF I COULD" then that's a little better. Someone somewhere is going to have a legit grievance. I want to know what that is.

  • It would be nigh impossible for that outcome though. If trump dies, Vance assumes the role but then selects a new VP. This new VP is now first in line and Johnson hasn't moved up at all. It would take the synchronized deaths of all those others in line ahead of Lori Chavez-DeRemer for her to get the position. This is a known possibility so they generally keep people separated to some degree. That way if someone wants to plot a mass assassination to clear the line, it's much more difficult. They couldn't just try to bomb one building or something.

  • Which was wrong. Tetanus is not caused by rust. It's caused by punctures. You can get tetanus from a perfectly metallic silver nail. Rust just provides handy nooks and crannies for the tetanus microbe to sit and wait. If I remember right, it was a fishing hook on an unused pole in an otherwise clean house/ closet. Unlikely it would have tetanus lingering.

  • If it's desiccant you could bake it at 250F for about an hour. It should turn a different color. Then if you re-wet it, it will go back to that color.

But if it's not desiccant, you might just melt some plastic or cause it to pop or something else.
