The problem with Language Transfer is its very limited language selection and its format.
Duolingo allows reading, writing, listening and speech (last two can be disabled if unsuitable in your context), and it does not impose daily limits. I've yet to find an alternative app that does all 5 of those things.
Well, supposedly people can use it without paying and without account, though I cannot confirm the last part in the official site.
Well, if they wouldn't, then someone else still would. Apple? Amazon? Yahoo?
Well yeah, but that's it? How does it differ from Bing Rewards or so?
What's the difference between Lite and the original app?
Do they all connect to their phone networks at the same time? I doubt that...
What exactly is the great advantage of eSIMs if you have a dual SIM phone?!
If the phone supports a normal and eSIM at the same time, they are equivalent. Because in many countries, dual SIM phones are (and will be) harder to get than single SIM ones, so having eSIM at least allows that.
In the idea that you can hit approximately the right key and it would correct to the one you intended.
FYI, Fleksy is up to date, free and uses a very similar concept.
Or forward button, in Chromium or Firefox.
Ahh, now that explains why I just saw a smaller number.
Floorp is based on Firefox ESR. Floorp will be updated every 4 weeks, with security updates provided before each Firefox release.
Floorp looks nice and customizable, but in terms of updates it doesn't seem very sustainable yet.
ChatGPT itself doesn't know where it got the info from, so it makes up links and names - it's a language model, not a search engine.
On the other hand, if you manage to find a reputable source and give it relevant metadata, it can format a nice citation for you, saving you time on that instead.
I don't think it is "forced", just the new default (unless explicitly disabled in a view), which is nice to see. Additionally, I didn't see much relevance to Play Store - it seemed to be a system-level thing.
It then implies the bot can do 2800 accounts/day though? That sounds like enough for any targeted spam campaign already.
I recall there being at least one content blocker that worked by heuristics instead of rulesets. Cannot remember the name, but it was clearly not as effective as conventional ones, because not all ads look the same and usually people want to block the invisible trackers as well.
Indeed, they don't have to bring back the XUL. The power users would just appreciate...
- new extension APIs that interact with the browser UI
- bring back toolbar customization that was removed for no reason (we can't even move the extension button at this point...)
- bring back compact mode and better themes (without requiring CSS and about:config tweaks)
The security tool will work in the background to detect apps that use suspicious permissions, like the ability to spy on screen content or read SMS messages.
What has "suspicious" got to do with "malicious"?
Floorp looks nice in theory but in practice it is very outdated...
I think it will be back this March with the new laws (Digital Markets Act).
Please let us disable using back button to open the drawer and on next press, then a prompt to exit the app. I want Connect to behave like any other Android app does - exit the app immediately if there is no navigation stack left.
Mis oleks, kui u/sunaurus peaks natuke r/Eesti moderaatoritega nõu, et teha reklaami ja kolida vähemalt osa rahvaga siia? Oleme ju digiriik, inimesed kohanevad muudatustega 😄
