Visto che in più avete richiesto un thread giornaliero vediamo se funziona, passata la mezzanotte in Italia potete pure aprire quello successivo (domani son impegnato è difficilmente riuscirò a connettermi), se non funziona si torna al settimanale.

Al momento, dopo appena 24h son passati a 50M d utenti, e senza contare il mercato europeo; dalle stime di fediverse.observer vedo un picco di 4.5M d'utenti ma attivi mensilmente appena 1.5M. Supponendo continui a crescere la mole di dati diventerà di 10x/20x non appena aprono le porte dell' inferno, e quando apriranno in europa probabilmente si sarà attorno al doppio giornaliero. Posso capire che così com'è la situazione non è facilmente sostenibile...

Da me è l' ora del caffè, come va li da voi?

Sto giocando a the witcher, per qualche ragione la steamdeck ha ben pensato di scaricar l audio in italiano... Gerard ha lo stesso tono sia che gli muoia sotto agli occhi qualcuno, sia che chieda qualcosa o in qualsiasi altra situazione.

Ma questo certo non è il peggior doppiaggio... Come non scordare Asia Argento in Mirror's edge?

Normalmente non me ne accordo perchè gioco direttamente in inglese, quali altri giochi son particolarmente indecenti che magari me li recupero su YT? Tra l' altro a volte pure gli inglesi doppiano male, soprattutto jrpg... mi tocca giocar in giapponese con sottotitoli!

Salve, ho notato che non esiste uno spazio appropriato per parlare del più e del meno, cerco di spiegarmi peggio. Se voglio commentare qualche notizia posso farlo sotto alla sezione notizie, allo stesso modo se riguarda politica, scienza, eccetera non c'è problema. Ma se ho un post che non rientra in nessuna categoria ma comunque vale la pena condividere non esiste uno spazio per questo, ad esempio:

Oggi mi sveglio e mi rendo conto che quando morirò alcune domande esistenziali rimarranno senza risposta, ad esempio come finirà l' universo, quante specie esistono sott' acqua non ancora identificate, cosa vogliono dire le canzoni di Tozzi. A queste domande mi devo rassegnare che non solo io ma tutta l' umanità forse non sarà mai in grado di dare una risposta.

Dove postare un ragionamento simile se voglio avere un parere dalla community? In scienze? Forse ma non sembra 100% appropriato, creare un nuovo spazio per questo post? Volendo si potrebbe aprire il "pippe mentali" o qualcosa di simile a r/showerthough, ma sembra più un post usa e getta.

Nei vecchi forum esisteva il concetto di off topic, tutte le cose che la community voleva commentare ma non rientravano nelle categorie dei forum finivano li, in html.it ad esempio avevamo un post ot sotto programmazione e php chiuso e riaperto mensilmente come spazio per la community.

Penso aprire una comunità Generale possa avere lo stesso effetto, un posto dove postare le proprie minchpersonali osservazioni potrebbe aiutare a formare una community solida e attiva. A mio avviso, ad esempio, r/Italy è un grande OT per utenti italiani su reddit.

Cure dolly materials are good but some people has issues with the pitched up voice, so I found a way to pitch it down using a combination of virtual audio and a daw; any will work but for this guide I'll explain it using reaper and blackhole on osx, as easily available for anyone and they exist on other os as well and setup is similar for them.

Disclaimer: Reaper is not free but has a 60 day trial and you can buy it later if you desire, it will show nag screen to remind you (or use another daw, if you do I assume you know how to route audio and pitch down audio in your daw); black hole has a donation box on their site.

Requirements: 0) homebrew: follow the "install homebrew" command you find at brew.sh

1. install blackhole driver Open a terminal and type each line followed by return:

brew install blackhole-2ch

sudo launchctl kickstart -kp system/com.apple.audio.coreaudiod

2. Install reaper daw from reaper.fm/download.php

Now you're ready:

• Press cmd+space and type system settings, press enter
• select "Sound" on the left menu
• Under output & input select blackhole 2ch (all your system audio is redirect to blackhole this way, so you should hear silence now until next steps)
• open reaper (either via cmd+space or click on launchpad/reaper)

It will ask to configure your audio:

• Click on "Allow use of different input and output device" -at the top you' ve input device, from the dropdown option select "blackhole 2c" -On output select "macbook pro speaker" or your usual device on your mac -press ok.

Now you're seeing a very empty reaper, right click on the left side area below the icons and insert new track.

Click on the red circle, this allow now to hear sounds again.

Click on the fx button, search for "pitch", from the fx listed select "VST: ReaPitch" with a double click, now here the first horizontal slider say shift(full range) just click on the right side of the slider in the textbox that has "semitones" next to it and write -6

Now if you start a cure dolly video, it will be pitched down, and it should solve the issue some people have with it.

You can add some more filters to make it better, or use a different value for pitchx but I think this is already enough for most people.

When you finish just remember to go to system settings/sound and restore your output to your speaker (of course if you're using headphones select headphones)
