You need to be careful here though. You might not intend for 0 and None to mean the same thing.

I think leofoto are the cheapest cf tripods I've seen in a shop. Don't be afraid to buy used either from places like lcegroup.

Remember you need to size the tripod to the camera. Film gear or a big dslr/lenses will want a heavier duty tripod.

This has happened to me, but I last used arch in c. 2012. And in all fairness, I was using it during the transition to systemd, gnome 3, etc.

Clearly it is difficult to shake a reputation.
