What makes your life well-lived?
  • What a great thing to do! I think it's why a lot of people volunteer for causes and give their time and money to charity. Such a great way to directly see the positive impact you're having on the world.

  • How would you spend $20 million a year?
  • Whilst I am very anti landlord, that last point is interesting.

Say, if someone had enough money to buy out thousands of houses and made them cheapest around, undercutting everyone, then sold them to the occupants if they wanted to buy... Would that somehow fix the renting crisis we're in today?

  • Don't be fooled Billy, it's not really a job, more of a parasitic relationship
  • If anyone was free to buy a house whenever they liked, renting wouldn't be such a problem. The problem is, renting nowadays is the only solution and therefore those who own properties are free to charge what they like and people either put up with that or be homeless.

Renting should be a temporary measure, however nowadays people can't afford to actually buy homes because renting means they don't have money for deposits.

Renting isn't a choice for most people, it's a means to keep them off the streets. The landlords have the monopoly.
