1 cup split red lentils
Tbl ghee or butter
1-2 dried red chilies
Tbs tumeric
Tbs cumin
1-3 Tbs salt (to taste)
1 Tbs each minced ginger and garlic
5 cups water
Put in large pot bring to boil simmer 35+/- min stir it you want
