You got me wondering where the FBI agents involved in this ended up. It wasn't that long ago, some of them could still be around.
I stumbled on this article in the Jacobin that mentioned this:
Mitchell’s file, released in December 2020 after a Freedom of Information request by the author, runs nearly nine hundred pages.
Which is interesting, because I had another tab open of agent Mitchell's records and it is 208 pages, not 'nearly nine hundred pages'.
Internet archive only has one snapshot, it's recent (March 2025) and also only 208 pages.
Got me feeling a little tin foil hatty, but I suppose that's normal when reading about a literal conspiracy like COINTELPRO. I wonder if the dogebags scrubbed some of his file tho...
AP's article mentions that Ozturk was posted on this website, https://canarymission.org/
After the op-ed was published, Ozturk’s name, photograph and work history were published on the website Canary Mission, which describes itself as documenting people who “promote hatred of the U.S.A., Israel and Jews on North American college campuses.”
'Tis a spooky place. No names, none of the articles have bylines, contact is just a webform, domain registration is anonymized, donation link is being washed thru some company called RTech Digital Marketing out of India.
Really got me wondering, who the fuck are these people and why do they seem to have ICE's ear.
Well I thought it was funny.
For my rye bread, I like to use molasses. Just two tablespoons/30 ml is enough for a one kilo loaf. I think the caramel notes that molasses has plays nicely with rye, but is a different taste. That way you've made something similar but different, instead of similar but 'inferior' (less sweet - so inferior, to a toddler).
That's half the sugar, and molasses is less processed. I've gifted my rye bread to a diabetic friend, he says it's the only bread that doesn't spike his blood sugar.
I usually bake by weight so I'm not sure how much flour you've got in there, internet is leading me to believe it's around 782 grams total flour weight? If it is, I'd do 1.5 tablespoons molasses for that size, or 0.22dl.
