I've played both, although it's been a while since I played it now.
The controls are much better.
The graphics are only mildly improved. The character models are improved but they kept the same pre-rendered backgrounds of the original game, which were all made for old 4:3 screens. So on a widescreen monitor you can either have it stretched or with borders on the left and right.
I think everything else such as the audio is the same.
My partner ran into a weird bug and couldn't progress further, but Doublefine sent me some save game files to work around the issue. I think those issues have since been fixed.
I second Three Bean Salad. It's Mike Wozniak (from Taskmaster and Man Down etc) and two of his comedian friends having some lukewarm banter.
I wouldn't say it's overly surreal, but it's a conversational mostly-improvised comedy podcast with some surreal and fantastical humour. Starting from the beginning helps you to understand all the in-jokes.
the RM "installed gravel on the bridge to a depth of 13 to 16 inches with an average depth of 14 inches, which far exceeded the specified load."
WTF, why the hell would they go and dump 16 inches of gravel on the bridge? That's an awful lot of weight.
Clearly this guy couldn't have stopped them dumping gravel after the bridge was completed, but allowing the client to save money on critical safety measures is inexcusable.
he says that, while looking human himself. i wonder weather he is even human himself, or some kind of alien
Celestial Dragons and Elders are supposed to be humans, but they think themselves as better than "mere" humans. Perhaps there will be an alien twist incoming!
The fact the Seraphim carry on the feelings of their lineage factor "parent" with them seems a weird decision... are they just clones of the Original with better stats or will they develop their own feelings?
Judging by Vegapunk's reaction, he didn't intend them to carry the original's feelings, but I guess the propensity to feel certain ways is inherited in the cloning process.
No idea! That was my first port of call too and had to look elsewhere. I only found out this chapter had dropped as people started talking about it on YouTube.
Yeah I absolutely agree with you. I didn't mean to suggest that lecturing the neurodiverse person would have solved the situation in this case.
I meant that even if the girl was neurotypical and/or intended it as a homophobic insult... it doesn't really matter - if the cop had to do anything, then just talking to the girl would have been a more proportionate response than what happened.
I meant that if the girl was neurotypical and meant to insult the cop, then the cop talking to her would still be a more proportionate response than assault and arrest.
Awful. Being autistic she may well have meant it at face value without it being an insult, and not understood what she did wrong as she just stated a fact. Then being dragged out while she had an autistic meltdown :(
Even if she did mean it as an insult and wasn't autistic, there'd be still no need to drag her out and arrest her. She's a kid. Educate her, sure, but there was no need to escalate it.
Mm, I thought it was ok. I found it frustrating when the animation style kept changing every few seconds, and certain bits of animation didn't have enough frames and went by too fast so you could barely tell what was happening. This is especially noticeable at the bit where Luffy deflected the Blast Breath.
I think next week's episode will be much better as it's by Ishitani!
Ooh,. Is pressreader any good? Do you just get a PDF-ish version of the print edition which you have to try and zoom and swipe around to navigate and read, or is it a bit easier to use than that?
Obviously we don't know the Lib Dem manifesto for the next election yet but they've been touting wealth taxes for years.
