  • Right now, I'm looking at the Galaxy Xcover6. It's the only phone on the market besides the Fairphone that has 5g support, removable battery, and expandable storage through a MicroSD slot. The downsides are that it doesn't support wireless charging (not a deal breaker for me), and it obviously doesn't have call screening. I'm teeter tottering right now, but I'm still mulling it over. I'm sure if I wait another year there will surely be another phone that checks these boxes, but as I'm sure you know, the 3A is starting to give out on me. Remains to be seen what I'll do.

  • I mean a widescreen, HD remaster. It being on NSO's emulators doesn't necessarily mean it isn't up for being remastered, as Link's Awakening is on GB but was also remastered.

Nintendo likely thought that fans would more appreciate a TTYD remaster than Paper Mario 64, and I know I sure do. (Not that I dislike PM64.)

  • The Pixel 3A is the best phone I've ever had, and I'm sad to be switching to a different company with my next phone. Being said, I've heard about the problems with newer Pixels, so I suppose I'm not too bummed out about switching. Still, gonna miss Call Screening.

  • This game means so much to me, I'm literally playing through with a friend right now (just got to Twilight Town last week!). I'm so absolutely excited for this game once again, and I'm glad Nintendo decided to make this step. I mean, not even Paper Mario 64 first? Bonkers. I'm thinking I'll do a BP-only Bonetail run as soon as I get my hands on it.

The only person I can think of more excited than me is Arlo, which is a given.

  • My father had the worst flu of his life in January of 2020, bed-ridden for a week. And conveniently, he never caught covid. He's absolutely convinced what he had was covid, and at this point, I'm inclined to believe it.

  • I don't think the Venn diagram of War Thunder players and aerospace engineers (or whatever) is small at all. I mean, you can't help what you're into, and if you chose to study and/or work with planes, you probably like planes. Enough to play a video game about them. 3 out of the 7 aerospace engineers I know play War Thunder, which is not insignificant. (And 2 of those play KSP.) I mean, why do you think so many engineers in general play Factorio?

Now, within the group of War Thunder && Aerospace Engineers, there are obviously a few morons, as with any group. Enough to risk their jobs, yes, is surprising.

  • Hey, I like wearing watches, but that's because I like having the time on my wrist and not have to pull out my phone. And smartwatches can show me my notifications.

    But this... is something else.

  • A very wrong proof once showed that the sum of all positive integers (1 + 2 + 3 + 4...) was -1/12. In reality, the infinite sum has no solution, so this proof became something of a meme.

  • I don't disagree, but I hate having to jump through these hoops when I absolutely shouldn't have to. A burner bank account or credit card is nice for sure, but it shouldn't be mandatory to avoid hours of headaches.

  • In a way, I'm glad to hear this. I mean, for one thing I'm cheap, but more importantly, I never got around to playing the DLC for BotW. I 100%'d the base game (well, minus the koroks) before the DLC even came out, and I've tried numerous times to get through the DLC when it did come out, and I just couldn't bring myself to do it. I know it's totally just a me thing, but when I'm done with a game, I'm done with it. So I've been waiting for the TotK DLC to all come out, then I'd play through it all in one fell swoop. I guess this means I could have started playing months ago, seeing as I bought it months ago, but whatever.

  • Honestly, you just know this is someone with actual grammar skills pretending to write all broken-English like, it hits that creepy vibe right on the head. Like it's not obviously fake like some people who write crazy off the walls shit as bait; this gives off just the right amount of a lack of self-awareness that gives it an air of legitimacy. 10/10, props to OP.
