For real, this was 85% of the reason I caved lmao. The other 15% was that I was presented with the opportunity to purchase one at a time when that was rare so I said fuck it

Just read this for the first time a few weeks ago, so good.
YES! Maybe I should read it again for nostalgia's sake. I can't imagine it's very long since little me got through it. I think it was my first modern sci-fi book which was a very different vibe from things like John Carter of Mars
Man I forgot about Colfer. He wrote some one-off sci-fi book I read as a sheltered kid and it blew my mind. Cant remember what it was called but it had something to do with energy-based creatures that you could only see if you had nearly died. It was kind of a cyberpunk-lite novel for kids
f my bad, didnt even think about spoilers
Indeed it is. He is definitely an atypical writer
I just finished "The Shadow of the Torturer" by Gene Wolfe, first book in the "The Book of the New Sun" series. Very interesting book, excited for the rest of the series. Not the easiest read though
Just re-read Stormlight 1-4 plus the ancillary novellas for the umpteenth time and it's always 10/10
I just read "Beyond the Rift" by Peter Watts. Highly recommend
Lmao im pretty sure that's the face brad pitt makes in burn after reading right before clooney shoots him in the fucking face. I fucking love that movie
"like the OG Time Machine film" 😂 fkn been there man
It's like an oasis in the desert right now. Everyone can look at this crazy spectacle and ignore all the polarized and heart-wrenching crazy bs that the rest of the news is full of.
I played a lot of metroid prime 1 & 2 as a kid but I dont remember thinking they were very hard. Maybe it's time I revisited them
Hell yeah that's sick, thanks. People come up with some crazy shit

I was lucky enough to grow up through the gameboy-->DS era so I've always been covered
We have protectrons in malls now?!
Says a lot for how much they were able to accomplish thematically with environments like that. Iconic
