It is? I'm not a big social media person so I don't know. I do know, that I've seen highly opposing view points for touchy topics on reddit many times and those posts get many up or down votes. Sometimes I see a post is locked from further discussion etc, but the posts are still there allowing everyone to see all view points.
But on mastadon/ lemmy all I've seen so far are hateful hypocrites who instantly block/ban/remove your post etc. If you fully agree with someone, except for the hypocritical part of there post and you echo that back to them, blocked/post removed.
Me even typing a response to your comment make me 70% more likely to get banned in the few hours.

Lemmy and mastodon are quite useless.
You can have the same core views as someone on lemmy and mastodon but if you point out a hypocritical post you will get blocked or your post removed. Being a hateful hypocritical person is okay but if you point out someone else doing it its not okay. A loop of hypocrisy.

Amazon has connections with everyone including banks.
Amazon likes to offer a free trial and then after you cancel well before the free trial ends, they continue to charge you month by month.
I had this happen to me a few times. The most recent time I reported my American Express card lost/stolen, that way I would get an entirely different card number/expiration/cvv/ everything. I continued to get charged every month by Amazon.
Turns out banks will continue allowing certain companies like Amazon to continue taking payment even though the original card information you provided was changed and reported lost/stolen. Amazon is so big they can ask for your CC information once and continue to take payment without re-authorization no matter the situation.

The weed bullshit in this world is overblown.
Every person I've ever know who uses weed has been a classic druggie.
And every person I've met with a "medical" marijuanna card are druggies.
Druggies are pathetic losers especially weed lovers. Yes weed has its place medically in some situations however, that's not the reality of most everyone going in a weed shop.
And the folks using anxiety as a reason to use weed daily are the biggest piece of shit the world has known.
