[David Ornstein] Lavia decides to join Chelsea over Liverpool
  • Considering Chelsea's contract lengths, it's no wonder players chose them. No matter what happens - bad form, injuries - they're set for majority of their careers.

It also has the potential to massively backfire for Chelsea, we'll have to wait and see.

  • Where do Spurs finish in the table?
  • I fully expect a bumpy season, or at least until November/December. But I don't think losing Kane is as big of a deal as many would guess. Yes, making up for thirty goals is a massive task and last season Spurs would get into relegation fight without Kane, but there's new coach now, probably strengthened defense and attack seems to still be decent. I'd argue when Spurs lost Bale, they were more of a one man team than now and they survived it fine.

TLDR: I think 6th could be both achievable and considered a success in Ange's first season.

  • [Ornstein] Bayern Munich have reached an agreement with Tottenham to sign Harry Kane
  • End of an era - I can't see Kane not going now. Hard to swallow, he's phenomenal player and will leave a big hole to fill in the team. The big reset is truly on now - new coach, completely different tactics. If Spurs have to adapt after losing their talisman, now is the best time I guess.

  • [Plettenberg] Excl. News #Kane: Bayern has submitted a new offer of more than €100m now - with bonus payments included. Bayern bosses expect an answer in the hours! #COYS
  • I'm getting tired and more and more I think it could be beneficial for the team and Ange as well to have a hard reset with Kane departing. But if he does, it needs to happen sooner rather than later.

If the alleged deadline really exists, I guess we find out very soon.

  • What's your favourite class so far?
  • Played druid preseason, sort of a trampleslide, enjoyed that very much, bear is tanky as hell and deals solid damage after a while.

Running necro for S1, had high hopes and still experimenting to find most fun playstyle, tried a bit of blood, bone and now testing shadow + minions, that seems promising! Love how packs melt away.

However, druid is clear so far, I guess I enjoy more 'in your face' style to necro's magic wand and spell casting.

  • Dele: "Now is the Time to Talk"
  • Incredible, strong interview. Always thought calling Dele lazy was unfair, he really seemed to lost his passion and spark for football. I wish he really finds it again and hell, I would love to see him return to Spurs and kill under Ange.

  • Why do Gezendong-style-tankies support Putin and Xi-Xinpin so much ?
  • There was no US destabilising Ukraine, there was no coup, those are taken right from the Kremlin book of propaganda.

There were civil society protests in Ukraine in 2014 to oppose government's withdrawal from EU talks. Ukrainian government, then backed by Russia, used brutal force against civilians while Russia "secretly" and illegally annexed Crimea (as always with them, firstly not acknowledging anything, using so called little green men, russian soldiers without proper markings, who later got medals for it).

At he same time, Russia invaded Donbas, again "secretly", talking about "civil war", but it was no civil war. The so called separatists were controlled by Moscow, supplied heavy weapons and even commanders by Moscow.

Eight years later, they invaded massively and openly, bz make no mistake, Russia's attempt to destroy and landgrab Ukraine lasts way longer than that.

[Gold] Tottenham signing Maddison with Winks heading to Leicester

"Terrific couple of deals for Spurs. They're getting James Maddison for £40m and Harry Winks is heading to Leicester in a separate deal for £10m. Maddison is the perfect fit for Postecoglou and Winks should do really well at Leicester and help them in their bid to get back up."
