  • I think this picture is a joke, however, some people have a sneezing kink. I am sorry to deliver this information.

In highschool my friends and I challenged each other to find the worst fanfictions we could possibly unearth.

Harry Potter sneezefic took 2nd place (looking back, it was about children... gross! but we were kids, and this was probably written by a kid? Life is mysterious.)

  • women lawmakers have had to use the private quarters of the Speaker of the House just to find a restroom that reliably stocks tampons and pads

    ????

None of the bathrooms at my work do this. Officially my job doesn't let me keep my purse/bag near the work area (I do anyway, and my bosses acknowledge corporate policy is written by lizard people) and I have to grab pads/tampons and stuff them in my pockets before using the restroom.

Are you telling me they just have a ladies room with supplies available? That seems nice. My job doesn't pay people well so they'd probably get stolen hoarded by people who need them more than me.

Though, my job treats trans people like humans and lets trans ladies use the ladies room, so we got that going for us.

  • Its a simple question about an unsourced graph. Don't you think you're being a bit too adversarial?

Not everyone is here pushing an agenda, some people use the comments to talk to other people.

  • So let me get this straight: I'm supposed to vote for someone who thinks it is too politically inconvenient to be publically against an ongoing genocide? Who is sending arms and aid to a nation committing genocide??

There were snipers on the roof of my college because of the pro Palestinian protesters. Pro Palestinian protesters get lumped in with antisemites due to just having human empathy. The voters needed something more than what we saw in the news: furrowed brows, hand wringing, and money sent for bombs. Palestinians die wretched deaths even if you feel real bad about it.

I can imagine the energy that we all could have felt if Harris/Biden had actually did the right thing.

I voted for Harris by the way. Not because I expected she'd end the genocide, but because Trump isn't a statesman and can't be trusted if we get dragged into war.

  • I don’t understand the Democrat strategy at all

Someone else summed it up better than I can. The democratic party is doing exactly what it set out to do.

    Nitter link.

They have no interest in furthering progressive policies so they don't. That's why the DNC chair is calling Bernie Sander's critique of the party's platform bullshit right now, instead of admitting he's right.

The system is as it does.

  • Its from a fine that doubles every day. There's no judge literally demanding google pay this amount of money. Makes a good headline, though.

FTA: "The company’s Russian subsidiary declared bankruptcy in 2022". Its just been doubling the whole time.

  • When the thing you enjoy and rely on is privately owned, the only way you can express your disappointment is to vote with your dollar.

  • At least the art got "better".

Actually, it's ugly as sin, isn't it? The artist probably should have spent more time on the characters hands in the last panel instead of giving his face a tilt. Oh well, at least he's trying.

  • ...everyone knows the positives. People who don't eat edibles really should be aware of the negatives, since if you're not expecting it, it could seem like something much worse.

This is honestly a bad situation overall. I live somewhere its legal and I occasionally imbibe, but I wouldn't want the surprise. I work nights, this could get me fired. What if someone's kid ate some, or someone on probation who needs to pass drug tests?

  • There are no checks whatsoever, no email or phone number required, no verification options—it just hands you an account for a 99-year-old, with full access to all chat features. (It took maybe five clicks from having no account to being able to play Blood & Gore.)

Come on now Kotaku. I was a kid once on the internet. I lied about my age once to sign up for Neopets, which had text forums, private messages and user-created pages. You could even use HTML and hotlink images. It really wasn't a big deal because my parents paid attention to what I did online, and the audience of the website was just children or people who wanted to play a simple game.

My mom ended up playing it, so she must have known I lied about my age to get access. She had hella neopoints.

For content marked 17+, you do need to verify your age with documentation

WHY IS THERE CONTENT FOR 17+ ON ROBLOX? Isn't this the TRUE child safety problem? Why do this at all? Why attract people looking for 17+ content on a platform for children??? I read that Hindenburg report, the entire platform is a mess. This company deserves to fail and those investors deserve to be left holding the bag.

  • Wow, are you also an editor of www.myhotcomments.com? I love your work. That website is full of content! Love the rebrand!

  • Ohhh... I'm a Krita enjoyer so I didn't know this about gimp. TIL, haha

  • True, but I expect that in a show about a criminal, especially when his name is in the title. I don't expect to see a state institution framed in the way they showed Arkham.

Some lady stabbed herself to death, alright? Why? Because she's crazy, obviously. Crazy people don't work that way, though, not in your standard Sopranos style show.

Remember that scene with that gal who chewed on those pills so her mouth was full of red liquid? Remember those multiple scenes where they tortured Sophia with electroshock, to the point she had visible scars (this is not how electroshock works)? It was all silly AF.

  • I think that suggestion about Matlab is silly, that's so overkill.

But, in case you ever run out of graph paper, consider Desmos, I use it a lot because it's simple:

    Here's your graph on desmos

  • You made this image with a green pepper? That's impressive, great work.

  • I would have agreed with this article until the last episode I saw, with Sophia in the Arkham asylum. It was a total tone shift. Every Arkham scene was completely cartoonish. I almost turned the show off, but then I cut it some slack, because ultimately these are comic book characters in a comic book setting and I could still imagine an interesting story.

  • I always enjoy a nice warm cup of candy corn alongside my platter of fried eggs. Doesn't everyone?

  • Thank you. That answers my question. I figured you wanted to remain anonymous, but I liked your answer and I'll be interested in what you find.

I was trying to word my initial post in a way to prevent you from becoming defensive, perhaps I failed. Though, I do feel quoting yourself is a bit... gauche, no? Especially since you are remaining anonymous.
