Having had to work with people, manage people, hire and fire people. I would say that having a higher education does not equate to a persons level of smartness, knowledge, or intelligence in any reasonable way.

This is due to the possibility that the lithium battery could be crushed, say in a seat recline mechanism, and catch on fire. Your modern small black rectangles are actually quite dangerous in a confined space.
