Whatsapp has begun working on support for third party chats (Telegram/Signal)
  • Try WireMin, I've been using it for a month, E2EE for dms, voice call, chat rooms, feed, pic or file transfers, P2P network. Its different with Signal/Telegram, which are run by a single company and could exit the UK if they have to. It is decentralized, it can't be controlled or banned by anyone.

  • X’s privacy policy confirms it will use public data to train AI models.
  • True, and Anonymity is important as well, I am suppose to recommend Mastodon, etc. But they do require Email address as an identity verification.

    Nostr https://www.nostrapps.com/ or WireMin http://wiremin.org/

Both of them are decentralized social media, and does not require personal info to register.

  • X plans to collect biometric information, job, education history for safety, security, and identification purposes.
  • Apparently, Elon did not get any lesson from the Saudi man’s death at all. Its so important for people to remain anonymous in the digital world.

Try this, I found people talking about this on Lemmy: https://www.alchemy.com/dapps/wiremin

So I downloaded, and from my experience so far on this decentralized social network, it has the ability to replace Twitter for those who care about privacy and are concerned with data breaches.

    • Using an Anonymous ID, it does not require either an email or a phone number when creating accounts.
    • It is decentralized, with no central cloud server to store our data.
    • There is no censorship; no one can ban your account or remove your content.
    • It connects the world widely, so no single country, government, or person can manipulate the content we see.
    • The feed/chat space, DMs, voice calls, and fast file/pic transfers are all end-to-end encrypted.
  • Twitter accused of helping Saudi Arabia commit human rights abuses
  • X plans to collect biometric information, job, education history for safety, security, and identification purposes.

Elon did not get any lesson from the Saudi man's death at all. Its so important for people to remain anonymous in the digital world.

    Try this: http://wiremin.org/

  • Twitter accused of helping Saudi Arabia commit human rights abuses
  • This is why personal privacy & nyms are important. We need to leave those platforms that collect our identity info, there is no privacy at all!

Twitter is not the right place for free speech, It's so hilarious that Elon says, 'Twitter is for free speech!

  • Saudi Man Receives Death Sentence for Internet Comments.
tipsandtricksbycent.medium.com Saudi Man Receives Death Sentence for Internet Comments

Saudi Man Sentenced to Death for Online Activity on X and YouTube

Saudi Man Receives Death Sentence for Internet Comments

This is why personal privacy & nyms are important, time to go somewhere else, but where can we remain anonymous in the digital world?

It's real. Twitter Shadowbanning is back.
  • Yo! I am on WireMin too, I am satisfied for now, even though the the message not working in real-notification, I guess its because of the decentralized structure, and they don't have much users yet, so the network is not as stable as Signal or others, but I mean it is pretty secure right? I saw news about Tucker Carlson said the US National Security Agency hacked into his Signal account and read correspondence.

  • "No space on the internet was ever private." U agree with that?
    • Find an decentralized network app, such as WireMin.
    • Set-up a username and password (does not require personal info)
    • Click discovery and create space (Chat or Feed).

Now you just set up a private space on the internet for $0

  • Deleted
    *Permanently Deleted*
  • If you are looking for P2P structure, WireMin is the right place for you I think. http://wiremin.org/

WireMin stands firm on a P2P decentralized network structure to resolve these digital issues: epitomizing data privacy, freedom of speech, and censorship resistance.
